Thing # 5

Mashups are pretty fun.  I enjoyed using Mosaick which shows you how to create trading cards.  I could see younger kids in elementary school enjoying this mashup. They could create these trading cards on people in history and of course write way more detail on them then I did.  Here is my mashup:
I could see children using this for people famous in American history, black history month, Presidents of the United States, the periodical tables, even cards describing themselves and having a class set created.  Can you think of other ideas and add them in the comment section?

  1. Kat,
Great idea to use this app as a History Trading Cards. Maybe even feature a famous person in History each month. You could even expand the idea to famous Scientists, Musicians, Artists, Explorers or Inventors. What do think? Lets keep brainstorming! Love the pic. of Cameron. Did he get to eat it, did he mount it or catch and release? Great job, MM

  3. Cameron ate it. They said it was the best fish they had ever eaten. I think it was because they were so hungry by the end of the day but also super fresh. I think in Pre-k we could set it up with our author study and then they could create their own as an author & illustrator. Thanks Mary Margaret for giving me the idea..
